High Production Volume (HPV) chemical-testing program

Do you think there's any question that turpentine is unsafe? How about rat poison? Believe it or not, the EPA says it's not sure, so it developed a plan to test these and almost 3,000 other chemicals on animals even though most of the chemicals are already known to be either safe or harmful to humans. It's called the high production volume (HPV) chemical-testing program, and it's a waste of taxpayer money, government resources, and millions of animal lives.
